Refreshed, restored and renewed.

Worship at FPC is intentionally designed to lift us up beyond the everyday and reflect the majesty and mystery of God. The worship services are traditional and liturgical—meaning that they follow a particular order—and are designed to reorient us to our calling to be reconciled with God. We gather to acknowledge our sin, accept the grace of God, and offer our worship as an act of gratitude.

Chancel Flowers

Flowers in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings are something we have all come to enjoy.  These flowers not only beautify our sanctuary, but are given to honor special people and occasions in our lives - honoring a friend, celebrating a birthday/anniversary/baptism, or memorializing a loved one.

Arrangements are $100. Please consider a Sunday (or two) to thank God and honor a special person or a special moment with the gift of flowers. Your dedication wording and donation must be submitted no later than the Monday by 5 p.m. prior to the Sunday of your dedication. Your donation can be made by contacting the church office at 903-597-6317.

Thank you for your generous donation!

The services at FPC—and many of the classes, too—follow a three-year lectionary cycle that corresponds with the seasons of the church year, such as the somber observance of Lent and the reverent anticipation of Advent. This cycle helps to guide our worship themes and ensures that we keep God’s Word as the focus of our services.

Children and youth are always welcome in worship—indeed, their leadership is often featured on Sunday morning. Read more about Sunday morning opportunities for children and for youth, including our nursery.
