Still Time to Make 2019 Pledge

We are still adjusting to writing 2019 on our checks and other documents, but we are fully into this new year.  As you check your list of things you meant to do in 2018, be sure that you made your pledge to FPC as you intended.

Many of us brought our pledge cards on Stewardship Sunday (November 4, 2018), and that date was our mental cue to make our financial commitment. If we missed that Sunday, we may have missed the cue!

It is not too late, however, to submit your pledge for 2019. Pledge cards are available in the church office, or you can simply drop a note in the offering plate with your name, address, signature, and a statement with the amount of your pledge. Giving can also be done on line at fpctyler.com.

Our pledges fund missions, outreach, programs, staffing, and maintenance of FPC. Your pledge helps make all of these possible. A new tax advantage is available this year for those who would like to make an annual donation directly from an IRA. Money sent directly from an IRA to FPC is not taxed as income. Contact your financial planner or custodian of your IRA to make this tax-free distribution.

Happy New Year and thank you for being a member of FPC Family of Faith in Action.

Yours in Christ,

The Stewardship Committee
